UK television executives today hit a new low with the announcement of the latest voyeuristic reality production "So You Think You Can Douche?"
Contestants will be required to perform a variety of irrigation acts on stage both in front of a studio audience and judging panel. Viewers will be able to vote weekly, with the winner announced after 16 episodes.
Health officials however have been critical of the new shows format. "Douching if performed poorly can be dangerous. I hope the show producers have considered the need to avoid transfer of vaginal and anal bacteria to the audience" said an unnamed spokesperson for the Department of Health.
Although the panel of judges is yet to be finalised, the producers are rumoured to be considering Gordon Ramsey as an option.
