In an audacious bid for views, Paris Hilton and Britney Spears combined their considerable status and interest-value with the equally attractive abstract noun "sex" in order to garner as many views of this story as possible.
An industry analyst commented "Why, these two dames is dynamite! Put 'em together with Sex and, gee whiz, views is what you gots!" Quizzed on why he spoke as if he were a character in a 1930's gangster film, he refused to comment. This is not the first time either of these celebrity superstars have combined with "sex" to get hits but joining forces will create such an wave of interest that their impact may be felt for many years to come.
The technique has been tried before with some success. Tony Blair and Gordon Brown attempted to generate interest by combining with the word "cakes" but many saw this move as cynical. This time, though, Britney and Paris have also used a photograph with a salacious caption to ensure they cannot fail.
