Early photo of Mark Lowton

An In Seine News reporter bought a box of anonymous photographs from an ebay shop last week for just 50p. They arrived today.

Imagine his surprise when he found one of the photographs was of a lad posing in 'The Queen's Legs' Tavern in Salford, glass of beer in hand.

An Antiques Dealer friend estimated the photo as being late 20th Century, juging by the clothes and hairstyle. It turns out he was right because The Queen's Legs have been closed since 1998.

On the reverse of the photo was inscribed in blue crayon:

"To the love of my life, here's one for you. All my love Mark xxx"

It is believed that the The Queen's Legs was a favourite haunt of Psychology students in the good old days and this young laddie was none other than Spoofmeister MARK LOWTON.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
