The entertainment world is mourning today, following the tragic death of Warner Brothers icon Michigan J. Frog. Mr. Frog was killed when he was hit by a car.
The car's driver, Carman Batista, 34 of Pocatello Idaho, says he didn't see Frog when the accident occurred just before sunrise. "It's hard to see frogs crossing the road when the pavement is wet right after a rain."
Batista told state troopers he stopped as soon as he realized something was amiss. "I heard this smooshing noise. When I looked in the rear view mirror, all I saw was the hat and cane."
A closed-casket funeral service will be held at Acme Looniversity, with Yosemite Sam singing Frog's trademark "Michigan Rag."
