"And we can get any job we want."

Donald Trump, who should bow out gracefully from the 2024 presidential race, said during the June debate with President Biden that migrants are taking "Black jobs" from Americans. Some people were upset, labeling the remark as racist.

It was more than racist. It was un-American. A job is a job, and any worker's color or race does not distinguish it.

Asked to explain the meaning of a "Black job" before The National Association of Black Journalists, Trump said, "A Black job is anybody that has a job."

Nah, that doesn't cook.

The National Association of Black Journalists was not buying his explanation. The "Black jobs" label by Trump was an attempt further to create a more significant division with his white conservative base, but he was too chicken to say so before the black journalists.

So, after winning the all-around Paris Olympics gymnastics finals and taking home her ninth gold medal, 27-year-old Simone Biles posted, "I love my black job."

Bravo!

Of course, Donald Trump does not presently have a job.

He is competing for the very same job with a woman.

And guess who is going to win that job?
