Whatever happened to former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo? Remember the guy who mobilized the nation, went to the White House, kicked Donald Trump's butt into action, and pulled the US out of the Covid pandemic?
Cuomo, a seasoned politician with a long history of public service, demonstrated his leadership and crisis management skills during his tenure as Governor.
Americans were dropping like flies until Como stepped in and took over. Other states followed his example. It's baffling why he isn't nominated by the Democratic Party to be President of the United States.
And since when does a retiring President (rumored to be suffering from dementia, Alzheimer's senility, COVID, a stammer, and must also have heartburn, gout, arthritis, and (don't ask about his plumbing) get to select the next one and only Democratic nominee for President?
The process typically involves a party vote, other nominees, and a convention.
Unlike the United Kingdom, the US Presidency is not handed down like a crown from father to firstborn of a royal family.
Kamala Harris was a California US senator for only one term, and Joe Biden selected Harris as his Vice President. Wham! Bam! Thank You, Sir!
Now Biden (the same guy who is too old to be President) gets to select Harris for President?
Where has Kamala Harris been for the last four years? What executive ability does she have? Okay, she can give a speech, but the only thing she's produced is that school busing t-shirt.
Andrew Cuomo could easily step into the Oval Office and take over. Same with Hillary Clinton. Mitt Romney could also do the same.
