An Instagram model is accusing Maroon Five lead singer Adam Levine of cheating on his model wife with her. Claiming she's "just Adam's type - breathing and female," the model claims that Adam asked her permission to name his unborn child after her. She claims that Adam was planning to name the child Instagram Model Levine. The unborn child already has a million Instagram followers.
Levine, 43, denies the allegations, sort of. "I used poor judgement in dealing with the Instagram model. I was under the impression that I was participating in a new TikTok challenge where married men asked for marriage tips from unmarried Instagram models. I was just hoping to keep my wife happy by talking to this stranger behind her back. My intentions were good."
In hopes of making amends with his wife, model Behati Prinsloo, Adam's apology includes what he calls "the ultimate symbolic gesture" as he plans to get a formal apology tattooed somewhere on his body. "The doctors are looking for a place for the tattoo as we speak." A team of specialists from Boston has been flown in to scan Levine's body in hopes of finding an un-tattoed space large enough for the apology.
Levine says, "They've found two potential locations so far for my apology tattoo - on the left side of the small of my back and on my right pinkie toe. The tattoo will be a constant reminder that I'm already married to a model and one model at a time is more than enough."
Fans of Maroon Five took to a Facebook fan page to express their support of Adam's handling of his marriage controversy. They did, however, demand that Levine issue an apology for Maroon Five's last album Jordi, saying that, "Some things are unforgivable."
