Barmy Boris Johnson auditioned to be in the Lion King.
Sources close to the British MP claim Boris loves the film so much, he auditioned to be one of the main characters in Disney's live-action remake of the Lion King. Initially, Boris auditioned to be Simba, but the directors thought his upper-class voice was not appropriate for the role. A Johnson insider claimed he was apoplectic, arguing black people were taking jobs from hard-working Etonians like himself, and that if he became Prime Minister, it was their fault. The source also said he asked to audition for the role of Scar, but the directors just laughed at the thought. They did say they would create a new character for Boris, but the only one they could think of was Sir Hiss from Disney's classic Robin Hood.
