Not Donna

A woman who had gone to Ibiza for a crazy beach dance party-cum-orgy, has told how she danced to the intoxicating rhythm of the Kylie Minogue favorite, 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head', and couldn't get the tune out of her head.

Donna McGlone, 26, has been going to the Balearic Isle for years, and has five children, all by different fathers, to prove it. She listens to all kinds of music, and isn't fussy - she'll dance to anything.

When she arrived in San Antonio in early April, though, it was an Easter break she had in mind, and nothing else. "Some peace and quiet," she said, "with, perhaps, an orgy if. I stumbled across one."

On her first night in the town, however, Donna grew restless at the bar in her hotel, and wandered off in the direction of the music she could hear pounding from nearby bars.

She ducked into the first one she came to, bought hereself a drink, and sat down to tap her feet to the tunes. Thirty minutes slipped by.

Then, the DJ put on the Kylie Minogue song mentioned above, and a switch was triggered inside Donna's brain. She tapped her feet, drummed her fingers, nodded her head, and started to sway gently from side-to-side. Eventually, she rose and went to the 'dancefloor' to strutt her stuff, returning to her hotel at around 4am.

All the next day, Donna hummed the melody, and sang the simple chorus of 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head', and slowly became aware that she could think of nothing else.

The rest of her holiday was experienced to a soundtrack of the Kylie hit, and only when she boarded the plane bound for Gatwick was she able to think clearly. Asked by a member of the cabin crew if she wanted anything to drink, Donna answered:

"La la la, la la la la-a la-a, la la la, la la la la-a la-a."

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
