With last night's premiere numbers for American Idol (yes there were 37.3 million viewers watching), Muslims, Christians and Jews worldwide agreed to a pact. The pact calls for a setting aside of dogma to defend humanity from the obviously imminent Armegeddon.
One religious leader who wished to remain anonymous mused, "Simon is the fifth horseman of the apocolypse. Jesus's donkey told me in a dream."
Political figures are nervous as well as city streets ran wild with partiers preparing for the end. Several high up military figures, it was hinted, were calling for martial law and a curfew at least in Hollywood.
T.V. execs remain cool. They see only a 5% increase from last years ratings and although may be a record for a debut on Fox, one said: "It is only Fox for Pete's sake, not like these number's were threatening the CBS, ABC, NBC Hegemony in charge of the idiot boxes."
