In the final show of John Mayer's tour a local magician becomes the hero of the concert when the automatic paper towel dispenser won't work.
Guest Garner Girthoffer was interviewed about the occurrence. "Yeah it was a mess. It's bad enough when you have to do a rain dance to get the faucets working, but when you can't dry your hands that's when the riots start. I was waving my hands all around that magic towel dispenser and nothing was happening. I'm sure glad that magician was there to get the dispenser to work. He could get a paper towel by one magic swoop of his hand."
Some guest were trying to blow their hands dry before the hand magician showed up but with minor success. Most were forced to dry their hands on their shirts or leave with wet hands. One gentleman was seen getting cross-examined by his date for his sopping wet hands. Bewildered she asked if he at least used soap at which point he reminded her that they were at a John Mayer concert.
The magician was asked if he knew how great of an impact he was having on the live of these brave men who were shipping off to see John Mayer? He responded," I'm just trying to get a paper towel to dry my hands but these jerks keep grabbing it first."
