Brooklyn- New York, 43 year old Bakery assistant Douglas Barnes has been arrested for loitering in the hall way of his Girlfriend's apartment building.
Barnes who was waiting for his girlfriend to come home from work so he could propose was dressed as the lead singer from White Snake.
"White Snake is my girlfriend Mary's favorite band. I dressed up as the lead singer to look the same as he does from the film clip, is this love? I thought it would be incredibly romantic, I even got my hair permed."
It is believed that neighbor's called the police after a nervous Douglas was pacing up and down the hall ways.
"I thought there was something wrong with him," stated 19 year old student Henry Davis, "he was pacing up and down the hallway like a weirdo, who dresses like that?"
"I was scared for the children," added Majorie Wilson. "I have several little ones here and the last thing I need is a strange man hanging around."
Douglas's girlfriend bailed him out after he was charged with misdemeanor loitering.
