CHICAGO - Music Moments Magazine has just announced that bands are clamoring to be the opening act on Willie Nelson's 37-City Concert Tour of Colorado.
Calcutta Cotton with Music Moments Magazine reports that so far a total of 213 bands have contacted Nelson about being his opening act knowing that effective January 1, Colorado made purchasing marijuana legal.
Cotton revealed that some of the bands include The Counterfeit Sombrero, The Hoosegow Honeys (an all-girl country band), Cajun Cal & The Bayou Swamp Dwellers, and even two rap hip hop bands The Fa Shizzle Ma Nizzle Chumpz and Camel Carl & The Desert Rag Headz.
3M reports that several of the 213 bands have commented that they are willing to be Willie's opening act for the unbelievable sum of just $100 per concert.
The opening act will have their room and board paid for by Willie Nelson and they will also get to party with the big boys.
Calcutta Cotton revealed that one band, The Wandering Wranglers, even went as far as to say that they would pay Nelson to let them be his opening act.
SIDENOTE: Miss Cotton stated that Willie Nelson told her that he will be making his decision on the concert tour's opening act within the next few days.
