BEL AIR, California - Word coming out of the Mariah Carey - Nick Cannon household is that the May - December couple's musical marriage has been hitting some awfully flat notes of late.
A close friend of the couple said that after five years of wedded bliss the bliss has turned into wicked blisters.
Mariah, who at 44, is 11 years older than her 33-year-old husband, reportedly told her hair stylist FuFi Fondue that she and Nick have grown apart.
She pointed out that they are just both too busy doing what they do to have any time left to do what it is they like to do together when they used to have time to do it.
Fondue said, couple that with the fact that everywhere Mariah goes, her infamous tata's enter the room about .8 seconds before the rest of her does and you have for a volatile situation.
There are reports that Nick "The Stick" is very jealous of men ogling his extremely well-endowed wife.
Carey is also reportedly not happy that sometimes when the two would be out shopping some of the salespeople would ask her how old her son was.
Nick would just smile and say, "Hey mommy, can we go now, you said you would buy me a Big Mac and fries iffin' I was a good boy."
Mariah would fume and tell the sales clerks that he was her husband. Most would just say "Uh huh" and wink.
Tittle Tattle Tonight is reporting that the couple have put their $13.1 million Bel Air home up for sale.
SIDENOTE: A close friend of the couple said that Mariah and Nick have twins and if they do get divorced Mariah will get the little girl Monroe and Nick will get the little boy Moroccan.
