HOLLYWOOD - The actor who is best known for playing rock legend Buddy Holly in the 1978 movie The Buddy Holly Story has just signed to host his very own talk show.
Busey said that he received a call from an executive at the Bravo Network saying his talk show had been given the green light.
The 69-year-old Busey said that the show will be titled The Gorgeous Gary Busey Show.
The show's producer has said that Busey's show will deal with topical subjects including politics, sports, celebrities, and current events.
Gary said that the all-girl country band The Hoosegow Honey's have been hired to be the show's house band.
The band's lead singer and leader is Tammy Goldstone.
SIDENOTE: Gary said that the guests on his very first show will be Scarlett Johansson, Jay Leno, hairdresser to the stars FuFi Fondue, Richard Sherman of the Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks, Joan Rivers, and Vice-President Joe Biden.
