NBC has bought the rights to "Colorado Has Idiots!" which will begin in a couple of months" according to spokesman, David Gheer.
Gheer told reporters that they have several 'Idiot' videos already "that almost caused me to wet my pants" and that they had purchased a 30-second commercial on the Super Bowl this weekend.
"Hope everyone saw it.!"
Here's the plot:
"They have a dozen or more people in a room smoking pot and then they are released while the cameras follow them around Denver, on foot. No way we would let them drive."
A short clip was shown of the competitors released at a fair and at the mall that were both hilarious.
"We predict that it will made the top ten shows in a short while as word gets around."
One thing the press has noticed is that once these are released, not many will be voting for legalizing pot in their state.
"I think they were counting on that", stated a source. "They want everyone to come to Denver over the Spring and summer."
