LOS ANGELES - This year's winner of Dancing With The Stars (along with partner Amber Riley of Glee) has said that he and Lindsay Lohan's visit to The La Brea Tar Pits was Lohan's idea.
The dancer known as The Dancing Dude told Bedroom Pillow Talk's Gazebo Serengeti that Lindsay called him up and told him that she wanted to talk with him.
Derek felt sorry for Lindsay and agreed to meet with her. He said that all they did was have dinner at The La Brea Tar Pits Diner and then they sat and talked in his 2014 red Lamborghini Murcielago.
Hough explained to Serengeti that he was dating the star of The Vampire Diaries Nina Dobrev until her ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder came back into the picture.
Derek confessed that Nina had told him that he (Hough) was much better in the mattress merriment department that Somerhalder.
Hough also noted that Dobrev was impressed with the fact that he can speed read a regular sized novel in about 11 minutes.
The former boyfriend of England's Cheryl Cole made it very clear to Serengeti that Nina Dobrev really and truly belongs with him and not with her former boyfriend.
SIDENOTE: Derek even noted that Nina had offered to have a tattoo with the initials D.H. put on her gorgeous looking caboose, but he asked her to wait until after the Christmas holidays.
