Nicki Minaj gave Amber one of her lipsticks as a keepsake memento of the show.

LOS ANGELES - It was a sad day in the Holcomb family as Amber Holcomb became the latest contestant to be sent home.

The Houston native, who has probably shed more tears since the days of Tatiana Del Toro, reportedly felt that one or two of the judges had been quite wishy-washy in their comments.

The svelte 18-year-old told Calcutta Cotton with Music Moments Magazine that she personally felt that country singer Kree Harrison was the one who would be going home instead of her.

She noted that she likes Candice Glover an awful lot but added that she really does not care for Angie Miller, whom she said acts too much like she's competing in a beauty pageant.

Amber did confess that she now wonders if perhaps the fact that the entire Los Angeles Lakers team was pulling for her (Amber) may have had something to do with her being eliminated.

Miss Cotton asked her why she felt that. Amber replied that the Lakers were swept four games to none by the San Antonio Spurs in the first round of the NBA playoffs, and she ended up finishing in fourth place on American Idol.

She then went on to say that it doesn't take a college math professor to figure out that 4 plus 4 is 8, and 8 was the uniform number of former Brooklyn Dodgers pitcher Nate "The Bait" Loser.

In A Related Story. Ryan "Peaches" Seacrest was asked if he misses his ex-girlfriend the stunningly gorgeous Julianne Hough. Ryan raised his eyebrows and simply said, "Nope."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
