HOLLYWOOD - The California Communications Commission has informed the producers of American Idol that they are going to be issued a fine.
CCC spokesperson Athena "Cupcakes" Cuppatori, 57, stated that the producers had been warned about their blatant product placement four times during the past month.
Mrs. Cuppatori, who is married to Hacienda Heights Walmart greeter Hank Cuppatori, 61, said that the violations stem from the show's crew placing those big red Coca Cola cups on the judges table in full view of the audience in the auditorium and at home.
Cuppatori also noted that a Ford Fusion automobile can also been seen parked just behind the transparent stage curtains.
A representative of American Idol was asked how much the CCC was fining AI. He refused to say adding that it was no one's business but the CCC's and American Idol's.
[EDITOR'S NOTE: I contacted Ryan Seacrest and he informed me that the two fines ended up totaling $84,000.]
