HARFOLD, Vt. - Film producer Spike Lee has decided to boycott Quentin Tarantino's new film Django Unchained because the film uses the N-word 110 times.
Students at Harfold State College, 99.9% of them white as snow, feel that 110 occurrences in a film of this magnitude aren't that big of a deal.
Sophomore Billy Svenden said, "The movie is long, I mean, way long. At 165 minutes, we're not even talking about one N-word per minute."
Others feel that Lee was picking on the film for the wrong reasons. Candy Lavasser, a junior in nail management: "Evidently, Spike has no issue with the fact that over 110 people get blown apart by guns.
"But, then again, this is the guy who chucked a trash can through a window to start a riot in Do the Right Thing."
