SAN FRANCISCO - LeAnn Rimes had just finished performing her concert and was backstage at The Veni, Vidi, Vici Coliseum where she spoke with Grilletta Brewburger of Yippee-Ki-Yay Magazine.
Miss Brewburger asked the 63-pound singer how she felt the evening had gone. She smiled as she took a sip from her bottle of non-carbonated water and replied that it went great.
She pointed out that the fans love her more today than ever and added that she is thrilled that her designer T-shirts, cowgirl hats, and short shorts are selling like hotcakes.
Rimes was asked if she had gained some weight. She turned red and put her water bottle down. She stood up and turned around. She then asked Brewburger if she felt that she had put on weight.
The reporter replied that she did not think so. Rimes went and stood on her weight scale (which she carries with her at all times).
And as the scale numbers moved up she let out a moan. "My goodness" she said, "Damn, if I haven't gone and gained a whole pound."
Rimes began sobbing and saying that she thought that her Daisy Duke shorts shorts were starting to feel a little tight.
Miss Brewburger told her she looked great and asked her what her secret to only weighing 64 pounds is.
LeAnn told her that she is on a 45-calories a day diet. She remarked that the diet calls for three Rice Krispies for breakfast, four fully-cooked kernels of corn for lunch, and half a cashew for dinner.
She then said that not only does she feel good but she looks great and her husband Eddie Cibrian affectionately calls her his own personal sensuously sexy 'swizzle stick.'
A Friendly Reminder. July 24, is National Toss A Frisbee Day except in Wyoming.
