NASHVILLE - Toby Keith and Kristen Bell hosted this year's edition of Country Music Television's Music Awards.
The event was held at Nashville's Bridge Over Troubled Water Arena and included televised videos from President Obama, Mitt Romney, and one of America's biggest country music fans Gary "The Space Cadet" Busey.
Chipper Caruso with Cowbell Notes Music Magazine stated that once again the little ol' singer from Oklahoma Carrie Underwood stole the show in the singing and looks department.
The former American Idol winner looked stunningly radiant in her little gray dress which she said was from country music outfit designer Loretta "Hey Y'all" Bitterpunch.
Underwood won two Belt Buckle Awards. The first was for Video of The Year for her song "Good Girl" and the second one was for Collaborative Video of The Year for the song "Remind Me" with Brad Paisley.
The Oklahoma beauty was asked to address the rumors that have been circulating throughout the hollers of Kentucky (mostly) that there may be a little bit of countrified hanky panky going on between her and Brad.
Underwood's milky white complexion turned as pink as a Chattanooga carnation as she replied that her and Brad are like cousins.
She caught herself and said "Ah make that brother and sister."
Although Carrie's husband, Mike Fisher, made an appearance at this years CMT Music Awards Show, Caruso asked her why it is that in the 11 months that they have been married Fisher hardly ever accompanies her to any of the award shows.
Carrie smiled, then got kind of serious and said that Mikey definitely ain't no Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, or Blake Shelton when it comes to being there at award shows for their wives.
She said that Mikey, who plays for The Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League (NHL) is pretty much always busy at their home nursing sore legs, arms, feet, hands, ears, and private parts.
Underwood went on to say that he is also allergic to the paparazzi and truth be told he is so shy that during their entire 11-month marriage he has probably only uttered about 400 words to her.
SIDENOTE: After the award show Caruso went up to Fisher to ask a few questions but one of Carrie's band members waved him off saying that Mike has a real bad contagious sore throat and cannot talk.
