Gwyneth Apple has been rapped for promoting a 21-day 'detox' diet.
The actress, 39, is selling the £275 'Cleanse' kit on her website Goof.
It involves eating one low-calorie meal a day, two protein shakes and vitamins.
'LESS BLOATED'
One mug punter who asked not to be named out of embarrassment told the spoof "I feel such a fool. I trusted her because she's a celeb innit. I sent her £275 and suddenly my wallet felt a lot less bloated, so in one way it actually works.
But Cathy Cummins, chief dietician at St Gavlar's Hospital in Luton, says: 'She is not a nutritional expert. I would not recommend it.'
Goof insists: 'It simply supports the body's natural detoxification process.'
