Apple is throwing a special Christmas party to celebrate buying the internet music site Lala.com. In honor of Lala, the party will have a very special theme. Repeating syllables will be the order of the day.
Singer Lady Gaga and cellist Yo-Yo Ma will provide the musical entertainment. Adding to the excitement of the evening will be go-go dancers.
Female guests are being asked to dress in clothes along the lines of those created by Coco Chanel, the legendary fashion designer.
Santa Claus will be an honored invitee, since he can be counted on for a 'ho-ho' or two.
A special yo-yo is being crafted for the occasion. Copies of it will be distributed as favors at the party.
The last song of the evening will be "Deck the Halls with Boughs of Holly." Plans are to sing the chorus, "Fa la la la la, la la la la," many times over, just in case anyone forgets the name of the company being bought.
The majority of Apple employees are very excited about the party plans. Others are less enthralled and say the plans sound just so-so.
