PALO ALTO, CA - Telsa Motors' CEO, Ellen Mush, announced their next "green" vehicle - The Telsa Model C. The model C is the first coal-powered vehicle since the 1884 Trepardeux. It was a coal fired steam propelled carriage.
Ms. Mush said the new Model C would be cleaner than their previous "electric" car, which runs on electricity, produced from coal, diesel and natural gas.
"The new Model C is twelve percent more efficient than previous models, because the coal doesn't have to be turned into electricity and then into chemical energy", she stated.
The Model C SUV can be ordered with the optional coal trailer and automatic coal-feeder, that results in a range of 45,000 miles between refueling.
Telsa Motors' stock rose 376% after the announcement.
