BATON ROUGE, Louisiana - A spokesperson for the Robertson family has just announced that plans have been finalized and Duck Dynasty Inc. will soon be opening up its first Duck Dynasty Duckburger Diner.
The premier restaurant is being built in Louisiana's capital, Baton Rouge.
DDI President Edwin Horace Deckingdocker told the news media that the Robertson family is as excited as a woodpecker locked up in a Louisville Slugger Baseball Bat factory.
The hamburger diner had been a dream of the Robertson brothers ever since they were little bitty bayou boys growing up on Cajun and Creole dishes
Phil Robertson, the family patriarch, said that it is good to get some good news after all the bad news he has been hearing of late.
He said that the entire family hopes that many more Duck Dynasty Duckburger Diners will follow.
Brother Si pointed out that ducks are much more nutritious than cows and he added that duckburgers actually go better with French Fries than hamburgers do.
SIDENOTE: Duck Dynasty Inc. President Deckingdocker revealed that the diner will have a gigging pond out in the parking lot where little kids can go and gig a frog. He was quick to note that all the frogs are 100 percent fake.
