Having been beaten by Robin Van Persie for the Professional Footballers Association Player of the Year Award, it transpires that I have been beaten by the Gunner for another significant award.

Van Persie has scooped a double after it was revealed that he is also the Football Writers Player of the Year as well.

Lookin' forward to next Monday un the game against Man City... we'll put um in their place then.
