Planning a wild camping trip this weekend out on St.Kilda. It's a hell of a trip from Wolverhampton but I'm well-prepared.

I've whittled a small canoe and a paddle from a spare wardrobe I had in the shed.

Got 5 kilos of tree bark pasta and a bag of marshmallows for toasting. No problem if I'm still hungry. I can catch a fish in my teeth any day. I'm Ray Mears.

Storm force winds and freezing temperatures forecast. I like a challenge.

My only problem is getting the canoe on the Megabus to Ullapool.
