Last weekend I visited Brighton to hand out pasties in a political move to embarrass the government after the budget saw VAT added to hot pasties.

It was heartbreaking to hand out all those free pasties - I could have eaten them myself.

But with Brighton being the gay capital of Europe, I did manage to have a great weekend, as my former Personal Assistant Tarquin invited me to the top gay bar in Brighton.

He now works for Wee Willie Hague - I never thought he's swap sides like that!
