Not having much progress with converting my atheist girl friend. She's shown me a side of life I had too little of last time I was around. My mother was not keen on me sleeping around, she said it got her into a lot of trouble and it wasn't her fault. People just would not accept that her baby (me) was not her responsibility. She said she hadn't done a thing and one joker said 'You must have had a virgin birth sweetheart'. She told me that this comment stayed with me for the rest of her life.
'So your mother was a virgin was she?' is a continuing question I have had to put up with for all time.
