What with Will and the PM I thought we had a chance of getting to host the 2018 World Cup. Of course stories of corruption in Fifa probably didn't help, although the only country - besides ourselves - who voted for our bid was one of those accussed of corruption.
Perhaps if we had spilt the beans on the others we would have had a better chance of a clear majority. We could then have forgotten all about the corruption.
