Arsene Wenger - My Fake Diary

Wednesday, 21 August 2013

Tonight we play Fenerbahce in Istanbul in the champions league qualifier, but everyone in England is talking about our bid for Yohan Cabaye from Newcastle.

Newcastle boss Alan Pardew says the bid was disrespectful and destabilised the team ahead of their match against Manchester City - which they lost 4-0. What a pathetic excuse - like nobody has ever bought or sold or bid for a player before in the build up to a match.
Actually, I may use that excuse next time we lose a match.

Tonight will be tough. They have Dirk Kuyt, Meireles and Joseph Yobo from the Premier League. Moussa Sow is also a danger, he was scoring for fun in the French league before he moved to Fener
.
Their chairman Aziz Yildirim has been charged with match-fixing, and even if they beat us over two legs, they could be thrown out of the competition by UEFA. And I thought I was unlucky?
