Vatican - The Vatican is confirming Pope Benedict XVI is changing his stance on condom use after a close call with a male prostitute.
A Vatican spokesman said: "The pope had a close call when it came to a night he spent with a male prostitute. The pope did tell the male prostitute that he couldn't use a condom with him. The male prostitute confessed to the pope he had a STD, and a condom would prevent him from spreading it."
The Vatican did say that the pope doesn't usually pay for sex, but in this case he really liked the guy and wanted to help him out.
The two men were later seen praying together, according to eyewitness reports.
