Cognitive dissonance is when you believe two ideas which conflict with each other and it makes you feel bad. Humans are ruled and driven by their emotions. We do what feels good at the time and we do not do what feels bad at the time. When we have two ideas which conflict with each other we get rid of one of our beliefs. This makes us feel better. Psychiatrists go to school for 30 years to learn this. They must read slowly.
The Koran is the Holy Bible of Islam. President Obama is the son of a Muslim father. President Obama went to school in Muslim Indonesia. In September of 2009 President Obama held a dinner in the State Dining Room of the White House to celebrate Ramadan. Kool and the Gang sang, "Celebrate good times tonight! Cause everything's gonna be all right, It's time to come together, It's up to you, what's your pleasure? Everyone around the world Come On! Yahoo! It's a celebration. Yahoo!" In his speech President Obama said "Islam is a Great Religion, Come on!"
President Obama recently endorsed the Ground Zero Mosque. Last week American born Muslim cleric Anwar al Awlaki, the al Qaeda successor to Osama bin Laden who died several years ago according to Benazir Bhutto sent a bomb to the Chicago Synagogue of Zero Mostel. Yesterday American born Anwar al Awlaki, the new head of al Qaeda attacked the 'Our lady of Deliverance' Catholic Baghdad Church and slaughtered over 40 Christian worshippers and two Catholic Priests.
In reaction to the slaughter of Christians at the Baghdad Church, Pope Benedict said, "I pray for the victims of this absurd violence, which is even more savage because it struck defenseless people, gathered in God's house, which is a house of love and reconciliation." The German born Hitler Youth Alumnus didn't say much about the Chicago Synagogues. The final war is the war of Gog and Magog. Magog may refer to the mother of all Gogs.
In September 2006, Pope Benedict gave a speech in his native Germany at Regensberg University. Condemning the concept of Jihad, Holy War, Pope Benedict quoted the 14th century Orthodox Christian Emperor Manual II, and read, "Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new (the Koran) and there (in the Koran) you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his commands to spread by the sword the faith he preached. I draw the line at child sex abuse."
Here is the cognitive dissonance for Christians living in America: President Obama says that "Islam is a great religion for Ground Zero in New York City, Yahoo!" and Pope Benedict says that "Islam is evil and inhuman because the Koran commands that Islam be spread by the sword." Who should you trust, your political leader or your religious leader? Take me to your leader. A liter of water in Haiti is now $17, Yemen will run out of water forever in 5 years and we're shipping radiaoactive waste on the Great Lakes to save a few bucks. Drill Baby Drill!
Last week Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg stormed off the set of the view because Bill O'Reilly said, "Muslims attacked us on 9/11." If Pope Benedict appeared on 'The View' and said "Muslims attacked the United States on 9/11" would Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar have stormed off the set? Were the 9/11 attackers Scientologists?
Forewarned is forearmed. The level of ignorance of Islam in America has reached a dangerous level. The time has come for every Western school to teach several passages from the Koran, which accurately translated say, "Slay, Make War on the Infidels, Christians and Jews. In return you will receive eternal paradise with God, crystal clear streams, 72 virgins, wine with no side effects and 80,000 servants each." (Koran Sura 9:5, 29-30, Sura 56, Hadith).
Then add into the equation the attacks by al Qaeda leader Anwar al Awlaki (who headed Mosques in three cities in the United States and was interviewed several times by the FBI and released) on the Baghdad Church and Chicago Synagogues just this week, and ask yourself, "Is Islam a Great Religion or is Islam evil and inhuman?" With regards to His Infallibleness, people who own their own city from which to launch Crusades and 300 year Inquisitions shouldn't throw stones. Yahoo!
