A Hungarian lorry driver brought chaos to an English village when his satellite navigation device directed him down a narrow country lane when he was looking for Budapest.

He ignored weight, height and width restrictions and drove his 40-ton vehicle down the winding lane in Radipole, Dorset.

It eventually got stuck between a cottage and a wall, and blocked the road for two hours.

After his ordeal the driver told us: "Is not road for Budapest? No?

"I leave Paris yesterday and GPS machine directs me to big tunnel with train for lorries, yes? When I come off train, satnav sends me left, right and onwards.

"Where is Budapest please? I need to be in Budapest."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
