...in Afghanistan.
Heavy US reliance on private security in Afghanistan has helped to line the pockets of the Taliban, a US Senate report says.
Some 26,000 private security personnel, mostly Afghans, operate in Afghanistan paid for from the U.S. purse.
Afghanis have much more choice in who they want to work for than an English or American counterpart in the U.S. or the UK - Afghan National security, US security, body bag suppliers, carpet emporiums, overcoat manufacturers, kebab shops or The Taliban,
and quite a lot, work for more than one of the above at the same time.
"Unemployment is non-existent as long as you are alive" said one local man "It's great, I heard stories of my granddad going to America to find work, we just sat tight and waited for the American work to come to us, genius!"
The only issue of concern in all of this is, "at some point, they could end up with a better economy than we have", according to one political forecaster, "if they haven't already that is"
