Sir Elton John gave homophobic protesters in Morocco the piano finger after protests by Islamists who tried to prevent Sir John's appearance, claiming the openly gay singer would offend public morals.
Sir Elton came underfire with his bitch lip comment stating he thinks Jesus is gay though the organisers of the Mawazine festival in Rabat defended the decision to invite Sir Elton John, in the interests of "cultural tolerance".
The Gay icon pulled in a crowed of over 60 thousand, the largest amongst the top line up of acts at the Mawazine festival in Rabat.
However, I think the organiser, Mustapha Ramid is a little out of touch when he says Sir Elton is not known for bragging about his homosexuality - please - he keeps it in the forefront - this guy must be living under a Morocco rock!
