A Turk is suing a Norwegian dairy for over $4m after learning from a Norwegian friend that his face is being featured on containers of Greek-style yoghurt being sold in Norway.
Mikos Malenkia was astounded when he received a phonecall from his friend who bought a container of Strawberry yoghurt and was astounded to see a picture of his friend on the 1L tub.
Mikos said, "I wouldn't have minded my image being used on Norwegian-style yoghurt but Turks and Greeks aren't getting along too well at the moment and this, to me, is a crime against my country"
In their defense, the dairy said they purchased the image in good faith but are willing to photoshop the image somewhat if Malenkia will drop his lawsuit.
Mikos Malenkia has no plans to drop the lawsuit as he is a panhandler in Turkey and says if he wins his case the money will come in very handy.
