There are many books in the World that cause controversy, The Bible, Darwins Origin of the Species, are two right at the top of the list for example. There is however a book that can cause more misunderstanding than that, its the book of Gobble-de-gook which explains how you can turn the English Language into garbled bureaucratic nonsense.
Politicians use Gobble-de-gook so that 90% of the population don't have a clue as to how they have answered a question, writers also use Gobble-de-gook in their writing sometimes even to communicate to each other so that people who speak plain English don't know what the hell they are talking about.
Some of these writers seem to want to use every word in Dr Johnson's Dictionary after it was rewritten by Blackadder.
People who speak plain English will never understand people who speak Gobble-de-gook its a weird language.
