Alarmed by the increase of injurious acts against stockbrokers throughout the world, the S.P.C.S. (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Stockbrokers) will hold its first international convention on Devil's Island, off the coast of French Guiana on October 29th, 2010.
Hilary Clinton will be attending the event as the senior representative of the U.S. government. When asked to comment on the upcoming event, Clinton remarked, "We've got to protect our stockbrokers, just like we would any other oppressed people group. It is the humanitarian thing to do."
The event is expected to draw thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of humanitarians and liberals from across the world.
Philanthropist, Michel Milken, president and founder of the S.P.C.S., says his group plans to formulate a plan to set up shelters around the globe for abused and neglected stockbrokers. "We hope that people will come by the shelters and adopt one, maybe even two, stockbrokers especially if they have the room in their homes and their heart. After all, stockbrokers are people, too."
