image for Eiffel Tower renamed
Oui Oui , we are upset say the people of Paris

It has just been reported, that a Taco chain has just bought up rights to the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France and are preparing to renovate it to resemble a large taco.

The people of this beautiful, romantic city are in tears and standing around wringing their hands as construction crews are already starting to work on this project.

Approaching a small, mustacheod frenchman wiping a tear from his eye, we asked, "Does this upset you Monsieur"?

"Oui Oui" he answered tearfully.

He continued, "Our famous tower will no longer be a place of beauty where thousands of people come each year to purpose to their loved ones"

The correspondent replied, "Our famous Tom Cruise came here to purpose to his wife, did you know that"?

The Frenchman looked puzzled and asked, "Tom whose?" and then went on to rant about the ruination that is befalling this remarkable landmark.

WWN is having difficulty hearing our correspondent through the sound of heavy equipment and construction crews starting to work on the renovation of the Eiffel Tower.

We are told that crews were already beginning to paint the tower a bright green and hanging lighted strings of red peppers from each floor of the tower.

It appears from various video communications we're getting that a huge sign has already been erected on the very top of the tower and it looks like......yes...we can make it out, it is flashing now and it says: Taco Tower *flash, flash* Taco Tower *flash, flash* Taco Tower.

Another sign towards the bottom of the tower is flashing also and it says; Free Taco Supreme to the first 100 people purposing during the month of February.

It is a sad, sad night in Paris.

Goodnight from WWN in Cincinnati

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
