The burning topic is meant to be climate change in Europe this week, but on arrival today, US President Barack Obama was the centre of discussion for very different reasons than hoped by many.
Air Force 1 landed in Copenhagen in the early hours and during the turbulent flight, the Obama's only way of controlling his fear of flying was by drinking twelve bottles of British apple cider with ice.
Known for its quick and dramatic effects, cider is often fondly known by many Brits as 'loopy juice'. Obama was, during the flight, ranting on randomly about topics including women's buttock sizes, the fall of communism being 'boring', and his healthcare plans.
A Washington insider, and close friend of Obama told us,
"Barack was more than merry after his discovery of Magners with ice. Once he got off he plane, he staggered into security at the airport and threw up in a pensioners handbag"
It is understood, that after six 'Red Bulls' Obama was cohesive and back on track.
Nicolas Sarkozy was quoted as being 'impressed' by the US presidents efforts.
