Cuba in the year 4009

September 12, 4009 - Cuba today has announced they will be embarking on a plan to build the first auto manufacturing plant in its history.

Cuba says their car manufacturing plant will rival that of Japans and they plan on making cars that are technologically advanced.

The communist government said in a speech that the new line of cars which will be produced in Cuba will not consume any energy because they will run on water and hydrogen technology that was developed on the island. The spokesman said the new cars will not polute the enviroment.

Cuba says the advanced technologies they have produced have allowed them to create a car that will last two hundred years without the need of any maintenance.

The Cuban government estimates a yearly profit of 650 billion dollar from the sales that will come from the new auto manufacturing plant.

Ernesto Hernandez the administrator of the Cuban treasury said that all the proceeds from the auto manufacturing plant will be deposited in the government treasury and will only be used for health services and the remodeling of buildings within Cuba.

Hernandez in a statement said that the treasury department will distribute accounting sheets to every household in Cuba to keep the population informed on how the money is being used in the health care service and the housing department within the country.

Hernandez says this new system is more effective than tax collecting because more funds are gathered to help the population of Cuba. Giving the money to investors who squander it on luxury goods like artwork and mansions is a waste of time and energy in Cuba.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
