Outback, Australia - Meryl Streep, who swears she only looked away for a second, has lost her toddler in a bizarre story of trains and dingos.
Security footage is unclear, but some are saying that the stroller looked pushed on to the tracks. Others are saying that the stroller rolled of it's own accord.
Regardless, the stroller - and toddler - were then hit by a train, and drug 130 feet into the territory of a waiting dingo. "We try and keep 'em off the tracks, but these dingos, what can I say?" said Paul Hogan, trainmaster.
The dingo then - according to the mother who was the only witness - ate the baby. Police are skeptical, but say that at this time they have no intention of arresting anyone, until they can watch the soon to be released LifeTime movie that will presumeably show what really happened.
Rumors that the child's name meant "sacrificial offering to the train and dingo gods" are believed to be unfounded.
