Legendary Spoof writer Abel Rodriguez, of San Antonio, Texas, tonight brought the world of Spoofery to its knees gasping for breath as he topped what is believed to be a record breaking points tally of 50,000 points scored with plenty of time to spare.
We sent a team round to Abel's residence to get a reaction but were informed by a neighbour that the publicity shy Rodriguez family, who suspected that this might happen had 'gone out for a quiet family evening together.'
We tried to harass some other neighbours of the Rodriguez family but we were obstructed by two rather burly San Antonio PD Officers named Jim-Bob and John-Boy who told us in no uncertain terms to get the hell out of the hood.
We tried to talk them round but Jim-Bob refused to be tempted by our offer of Mickey Dee vouchers. What we didn't notice was that John-Boy had sneakily nicked our stash of Pizza Chicken Shack free stuff vouchers.
We told them in no uncertain terms that we were well-connected journalists but they just told us to 'Go away'.
