Have You Seen This Cell Phone?

London - Seven foot one NBA basketball star Shaquille ONeal recently misplaced his cell phone here while vacationing. The 15-time All-Star last recalls setting it down "somewhere near Regent's Park" and has not been able to find it since. The cell phone is uniquely styled as a full-size K6 London phone box based on the original design by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott.

Known as a bit of a fashion plate off the court ONeal says his London phone box cell phone fits comfortably in his hand and offers a touch of class that sets it apart from other "plastic" cell phones.

ONeal is anxious to have the phone returned but says his search has been frustrated by the large number of telephone boxes in greater London that look exactly identical to it.

One Londoner was more than a little surprised by the NBA star.

Delbert McLinton was making a call to his mother in Regents Park when he was surprised to experience both him and the phone box he was in elevate in the air as Mr. ONeal wandered around London looking for his cell phone.

"It was a good fright for sure going up in the air like that. I didn't think that Great Britain had a space program! Then I saw Mr. ONeal peering in with his huge great eye from above, of course I recognized him at once from the television. Once he saw me he put me down right proper and gentleman like."

Mr. ONeal has offered a reward for any information regarding the missing phone.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
