Health officials worldwide who are currently investigating a series of outbreaks of the potentially-fatal Swine Flu virus, say they have reason to believe there may be some tenuous connection with Britain's Got Talent singing sensation, Susan Boyle.
Susan, the 47-year-old unemployed church worker from Scotland who has never been kissed, wowed audiences with her stunning rendition of the Les Miserables classic, I Dreamed A Dream, and became an instant hit as video footage of her was beamed around the world in an instant via YouTube.
It's this 'instant transmission' that has got the experts worried. They say, it's possible that the virus could have been hidden in the programmes of the computer that was first used to upload the video to the internet site.
They are now concerned that Susan's singing may cause a global pandemic.
Susan also made an appearance on the Jay Leno TV show in the US, and this may go some way to explaining his recent mysterious illness.
Speaking from her slum dwelling in Blackburn, Scotland, this morning, Susan said:
"It's so exciting to think I could have been the start of something so big! La-la-la-la!!!"
