An Afghani Entrepreneur, Alsari-Al Heinze, has today lost out in an Afghanistan court in a battle of copyright and trademark infringements over the production of his mayonnaise.
Heinze's latest product, the first mayonnaise from the region had been targeted by a worldwide corporation as they felt that the name "Helmand Mayonnaise" was too close to their own "Hellmann's" brand.
Heinze had already famously lost the right to sell his baked beans and other varieties after a different worldwide company felt the need to target him.
Speaking from the court, the visibly disappointed Afghan described that "this will not stop me from generating new ideas for products. My latest one is an MP3 player which I am calling the Alsar-i-Pod".
