image for The Police are attacked in G20 Riots!

The Police have been attacked in the protests around London surrounding the G20 summit. A spokesperson for the English three-piece rock band said 'Sting was pretty unhappy, he said it gave him flash backs from scenes from Quadrophenia, days he would prefer to forget.'

One rioter said 'oh, that was The Police, my mistake, I take it back. My mate said it was the rozzers.' As the protesters gathered around large buildings in the city throwing rocks and glass, they realised they got the wrong bank, they were bombarding London's Bottle Bank with bottles of there own, helping with the recycling efforts. President Obama praised the yobs. He said, 'These are the kindest, most thoughtful pricks I have ever come across, and trust me, I'm an American.'

It was only when the protesters realised that they were in fact helping the cause they turned on The Police, who were trying to calm the situation by putting on an impromptu gig. When Sting thanked the audience by saying 'Thank you very much, you've been great, and we're The Police!' Things turned nasty. The protesters, thought that they had been made a mockery of and attacked the trio.

Ian Broke, Youth for Jobs, said that he felt stupid after attacking the wrong bank and then The Police. 'I would like to appologise to Sting personally, I thought they were the real deal, you know Feds. If I see Sting, I will say sorry and offer him my help for any future projects he may have in exchange for money' After Broke made this public attempt to get a job from Sting he led his fellow unemployed disgruntled youths to the local skate park, via One Stop.

Kaiser Chiefs have been asked to change the name of there chart topping hit 'I predict a Riot' after many protesters were using the title as there slogan. The band have changed to 'I predict a pleasant, peaceful, no aggressive walk through the city of London and respect the outcome from the debate held by world leaders'

The debate continues.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
