Barack's Palm Sunday steed: Snowball's chance

Barack Obama came up with a dramatic entrance to London and the G-20 as he approached the British capital from Heathrow Airport bestriding a jackass.

Some thought it was a reference to the emblem of Obama's own Democratic Party. Others saw a nod toward VP biden's Irish roots and still others found yankee Doodle written all over it until throngs of per diem worshippers arrived to line the road waving their palm pilots and singing Hobama in the Highest. That's when even the dullest pencils in the UK press corps realized the Christian allusion.

Unfortunately the resemblance to Jesus Christ and the events of Holy Week continued.

After the triumphal entrance, Gordon Brown sold Obama for thirty pounds of haggis and after a farewell brunch with his inner circle Obama got hung out to dry. He did say that he hoped to rise early Sunday in time for the White House Easter egg hunt.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
